Young suppporters raise funds for IAR
Ewan Runciman and friend Nicola raised the magnificent sum of £81 at a May Fair by running a stall with competitions like ‘Guess the teddy’s name and birthday’ and ‘Guess the number of sweets in the jar.’ Tragically Clare, Ewan’s young Border Collie, was killed by a car on the Friday before the Fair. It was extremely brave of him to carry on with the sale after suffering such a terrible blow.
We wish Ewan the very best in coming to terms with such a sad loss and send grateful thanks to him and to Nicola for their fantastic effort. Their fundraising is continuing in the local fruit shop where they are running the teddy bear and sweet competitions for customers.
