Carrie Colliss, IAR Development Director, visits the USA

Carrie Colliss, VP fund development, has just returned from a visit to the USA.

Carrie has been working hard to develop our fundraising appeals and International Animal Rescue, US as an IRS recognised non-profit is registered to solicit donations in all US states.

Carrie had an excellent trip and meetings with our lawyers, accountants, bank, marketing and fulfilment agencies and is very confident that the USA provides an excellent opportunity for us to raise the funds we so desperately need to continue our work to rescue the dancing bears of India. Our goal is to be expand the existing sanctuary until we have stamped out this cruel practice once and for all.

Grant Award
We were also successful in receiving a grant from The Summerlee Foundation of Texas towards our important project in the UK to track stranded whales and dolphins once they have been successfully refloated.
