India: Goa : Resident Dogs : Sharmili

Name: Sharmili
Gender: Female
Colour: Light brown and white mix
Age: Unknown

Funny characteristic: Likes to sunbathe on her tummy with all her legs stretched out, making her look like a human in a dog's costume.

SharmiliSharmili is a very gentle and very good natured character. She is a little suspicious of strangers and quite introverted when it suits her. She loves playing with the puppies at the centre for rehoming and gets excited when they are taken out for a play so she can join in. She has a habit of adopting slightly strange-looking poses for a dog when she is relaxing in the sun. It makes you wonder if she once upon a time witnessed a yoga class and memorised a few of the postures. Sharmili is a very attractive girl and popular with the boys, although she does have a habit of crawling under the cars and getting herself covered in oil and grease, however she isn't bothered. She is not an attention-seeking kind of dog. She likes to observe everything from a distance and occasionally when she is in the cuddly sort of mood she will come and let you scratch her belly.
