Funny characteristic: Olive miraculously recovered from canine distemper but has got slight nerve damage from the disease which makes her head bob up and down constantly.

Olive was as skinny as a dog can be when she was first brought to the centre. She was suffering from canine distemper - a very common and contagious illness which affects the nervous system - and she was frail and timid. She also had a fractured leg which had to be pinned together. Today she has completely recovered and is charming her way in to everyone's heart with her funny twitch and big scars. She often gets bullied by the other dogs that are bigger than her and in turn she takes her frustration out on the smaller ones so in amongst all her charm she is bit of a madam too! As a result of her nerve damage her co-ordination is not the best so when she gets excited and can't jump up elegantly on people she throws her whole body at them instead. The greenish colour of her fur adds even more charm to her already interesting characteristics.
